Virtual PC 2007 Release Candidate

just before new year. Scott Woodgate of VPC Team just post the  version 6.0.142. It come with a requested new feature, PXE boot, and some issues that were submit on it’s connect site. These bug fix including installation of  Windows Server 2003 as a host; Audio in Vista; DVD support for Vista installation; binding to wireless network cards. If you are beta tester you can get it on or otherwise register for it.

From Woodgate, some of annoying issues seem to be fixed but what about sluggish performance? I will have a try and post the result some days later.

VMWare Workstation 6.0 give me best experience on Linux especially when I testing the last Ubantu Desktop. It took 1 - 3 minutes before the local network (LAN for router) is detected, Sidebar and Gadgets is shown. Before VMWare was installed these process took just a couple second. I did uninstall and Windows Startup is back to normal. I hope VMWare will fix this soon. […]
