Soapbox get Messenger Integration

Last month there is news about the integration between Windows Live Messenger and Microsoft own video upload and sharing service, Soapbox. Nicole posted . This means that you can watch any uploaded video form Soapbox Beta with your friend via Messenger. If you are previously use Soapbox just visit Soapbox and select a video to share. Otherwise you need to request for invite from .

To watch video with friend,  select a video then click on “share” and click “im this video”. Then select friend from contact list and after your friend accepting invite the enjoy the video.

But that not for me. I got error below. My friend and I running on Windows Vista Ultimate (RTM) and the latest Windows Live Messenger 8.1 with Adobe Flash 9 installed.

There was an error loading the Soapbox on MSN Video Activity. Please close this conversation window and try again

The integration of Soapbox with Messenger giving ability to enjoy video sharing. This may help Microsoft to expand Soapbox service to million of Messenger users while Youtube is leading so far. Youtube is now belong to Google the evil, Oops!

Some customers may enjoy when they found some interesting video and ask their IM friends “Hey, what this together”. Or, otherwise user may upload their own video through Soapbox and watch together wight friend. I don’t want to talk about how long upload process could take. Soapbox is public (at least for soapbox user, even it have an option for hidden) if the video is some kind of family vedio and user don’t want to expose to the world, what’s then? Should we have some kind of watching together .
