Microsoft released Windows Server codename “Longhorn” December 2006 CTP on 21 Dec but it only available for Managed Beta Tester via Microsoft Connect. MSDN and TechNet subscriber will need to wait until the end of new year holiday. Davis explained on Windows Server Division blog the issue is related to the storm which damaged power line. David also promised that the CTP will already there for download and test when we are back. I came back on Jan 2 and keep regularly check on my TechNet if it available but no Longhorn Dec CTP there. There is no information from Server team. I tried to use online chat (assistant) from Technet page but Jenny terminated my session twice that because of my connection is slow due to Earthquake in Korea.
I keep waiting and hopefully it will be very soon. I don’t like to take it from some torrent sites which already available for long.
