Windows Vista SP1 is ready to begin

Bink.nu (TAP) which containing brief information about Windows Vista Service Pack 1. Microsoft is now open for nomination for testing Vista SP1 but limited to TAP only at the moment. This information is not available at Microsoft Presspass nor any official announcement. The email contain no info if will official Vista beta tester able to participate, or when Microsoft will open nomination for testing of Vista SP1 Beta. We may have to wait for awhile. Guess, three months or more from now.

According to Bink there is little information about Windows Vista:

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) will be a standard service pack that will include security updates, hotfixes, as well as limited other changes focused on improving quality.

It’s doubted. If this is just a standard service pack with a number of hotfixes and little change why Microsoft start with SP1 so early? And what about ““. Btw, Windows Vista SP1 is set to release in second half of CY2007.
