When Microsoft announced User Account Control (UAC), the flame is begin and it continues. I have seen how much Microsoft listen to their tester’s feedbacks during beta test of Windows Vista and they tried to reduce annoyance. I see the need and how UAC will play important role for normal computer users, not the greeks. I means kinds of people who don’t user their compute with security bearing in mind. Someone just like my youngest brother, some of my friends, and the beginner. There are big number of example but I won’t mention it. Do I get a clue not is not my interesting but UAC is my acceptance.
Jim Allchin, who will retire in the end of this month, posted an excellent article about UAC. It detailed how Microsoft balance the security and usability. It’s long post but useful to understand UAC.
