Noticeable changes in Server 2008 R0

I just finish installed Windows Server 2008 R0 over Microsoft VirtualPC 2007. I see small noticeable change during installation that is Server 2008 R0 forces Administrator to change password before start Server for first time, contrast to what I experienced with Beta3. This look more close to Linux system.

Another thing is, because I test it on VPC 2007, it support VPC Tools better than previous Beta. I can move mouse across host and guest OS without touching release bottom.

I will dig into more detail later this day.

Ok, since Microsoft forced the old MSN Messenger user on Windows XP to upgrade to Windows Live Messenger 8.1 BUT you don’t want it. ?

The step is simple. Just jump into MSN Messenger folder and change “compatibility mode” to Windows 2000. That’s all.

If you already installed 8.1, the way back is uninstall it and re-install your old MSN Messenger, then change compatibility mode before signing in.
